Vitamin C Serum

Vitamin C is an essential nutrient required for the growth and repair of tissues in all parts of the body, including the skin. 

The form of Vitamin C that we absolutely love and choose to use is called Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (SAP). 20% to be precise. It has a salt molecule attached to it which helps it easily penetrate the skin’s lipid barrier. Because this form of Vitamin C is easily absorbed and utilized by the skin, it is not associated with the irritation often experienced with other forms of Vit C such as the popular L-ascorbic acid (which is not great for acne-prone skin).

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a naturally occurring water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. It’s the most stable form of Vitamin C, meaning it won’t oxidize and go bad in a couple months when exposed to light, water or oxygen,

About the Serum:

Made from Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (SAP), this serum combines the antioxidant powers of Vitamin E and Ferulic Acid and other organic natural ingredients like Aloe, Jojoba and Witch Hazel - rounded off with Hyaluronic Acid to lock in moisture - making it an extremely stable, hydrating and effective formula.

How to Use:

Apply it in the morning, after cleansing, before moisturizer. This is the best time to reap the antioxidant benefits of the ingredient, as it will fight any free radicals that form due to the sun or pollution you're exposed to throughout the day. Just be sure to cap off this morning routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least an SPF 30. 

If however, you're a night skincare regimen person, it's great to use before bed too after cleansing.

Great and perfectly safe to use after microneedling. It is a gentle form of Vitamin C.

Don't use with Benzoyl Peroxide and retinols at the same time. We recommend not mixing with AHAs and BHAs too. Best to use in the morning, prior to sunscreen.
